600 miles and still going... so far!

Only the brake caliper has nearly fallen off (note to other builders; use plenty of thread lock on the caliper bolts) and a new clutch cable has been fitted. (should be ok now, but it one of the things I check weekly)

Since passing SVA I've been fitting all the things it would have failed on, Screen, Wipers, Washer bottle, Sidesc reens and Hood. The sidescreen have been unstitched chopped in half (removed about 5mm of the frame) then stitched back up so that they fold in half and go length ways behind the seats. The Hood when folded just about fits in the boot with the tool kit and jack. Haven't taken her out when it's been raining yet but I'm pretty sure it will keep 90% of me dry.

Took my Super Spec to it's first Kit Car Show on the 17th September 05 at Brands Hatch. It was great to meet some of the other builders I have pestered over the last year. The show was good but I was a little disappointed with the lack of stalls there, hopefully this will be sorted out for next year.
