July...not a great start! Fitted prop shaft and gear selector only to find that when the clutch is pushed flat to the floor the car still remains in gear!! What can the problem be? (apart from the fact that the clutch isn't working) I'm phoning Richard tomorrow (14th July) to see what he suggest!!

UPDATE: Spoke to Richard today and he said that the clutch is probably seized against the flywheel (or something li ke that) and that I should progress with the build as normal. The clutch should free itself once the engine has been started...! Hmm,what if I get to that stage and it still doesn't work? Don't fancy ripping it all apart again. So lunch-time I put the car in gear and rocked it forward and backward a few times...'RESULT!!! Can now move the car with the clutch down and in gear. (Feeling a lot happier and looking forward to tightening up the prop shaft bolts and attaching the gear selector permanently.
