My wife and I set off from our home in kent at 8.00am we'd planned to arrive at Robin Hood by lunchtime (1pm/2pm). We should of known... 'NOTHING EVER GOES TO PLAN!'.

We eventually arrived at 7.00pm having spent 5hrs between junction 14 & 15 of the M1.
I was really worried that RH would be closed when w e got there but thankfully Richard & Gina stayed behind. One, to get their hands on our money and the other to help us load up and check off all the bits and pieces. Just as well really as I didn't have a clue what any of them were. (Big thanks to Richard and Gina for their time and patience)

After 2hrs of packing and checking we hit the road for the return journey... 4hrs later at 1.00am we were busy waking up the neighbours as we tried to reverse the trailer into the garage area. Then the clutch on the hire van decided to go... could anything else go wrong? Luckily NO – We unloaded the chassis and rolled it into the garage, emptied the van and went to bed. (Just about got the motorbike in the garage by leaning it against the car)

In the morning I took the hire van back avoiding steep hills... handed the keys back and whistled my way out of the forecourt.
